DRA met with Senator Pocock’s office and discussed the following 

• Non-Compliance with Commonwealth legislation – PALM Act 1988, National Capital Plan, EPBC Act 1999
• National Capital Authority – operational approach, capability, consultation
• Complex & confused planning responsibilities – National Capita Authority & ACT Government
• No integrated or holistic approach – information lacking disconnected or misleading
• Approach disconnected from civil and social infrastructurebrequirements – Mint Interchange, community facilities and services
• Not clear why National Capital Authority is Planning Authority for new high-density suburb that is not nationally significan
